1. Who is iBuildPro

iBuildPro is a project-management software platform for construction contractors. Each contractor tenant on the platform is provisioned a dedicated US phone number and uses it exclusively to message their own signed-contract customers (the homeowners they are building for). Every outbound SMS identifies the specific contractor in the message body with a — {Contractor Name} signature appended automatically by the platform.

iBuildPro itself does not market to consumers and does not message anyone outside of a contractor's own customer relationships. SMS is strictly transactional — appointment reminders, project status updates, payment receipts, and customer satisfaction sign-off requests for active construction projects.

2. How SMS consent is collected

Customers (homeowners) opt in to receive SMS by accepting and signing a construction estimate / contract from their contractor. Every estimate document generated by iBuildPro contains the SMS Consent Clause shown in §3 below within the Terms & Conditions block above the signature line. The customer must affirmatively e-sign the estimate to accept the contract; that e-signature constitutes written consent to receive SMS at the phone number they provided.

No customer is messaged by SMS until they have signed an estimate / contract containing this clause. Phone numbers entered into the platform but never tied to a signed contract are not sent SMS messages.

3. The SMS Consent Clause (production language)

SMS / Text Messaging Consent

By accepting this estimate and providing your phone number, you authorize the Contractor and iBuildPro (the service platform) to contact you via SMS text messages at that number regarding your project. Messages may include appointment reminders, project status updates, payment receipts, customer satisfaction sign-off requests, and other transactional communications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message. Reply HELP for help. Consent to SMS is not a condition of service; you may decline and receive all communications via email or phone instead. Our full privacy policy is available at https://www.ibuildpro.ai/privacy.

This clause is appended to the default Terms & Conditions of every iBuildPro tenant via a database-level update (migration 20260419030000_sms_consent_clause.sql), so it appears in every estimate generated on or after 2026-04-19. Tenants who customize their T&Cs may extend the clause but the substance of the SMS consent text is preserved.

5. Opt-out and HELP

Replying STOP (or any of OPTOUT, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, STOPALL) to any iBuildPro-sent SMS opts the recipient out immediately. Subsequent messages from that contractor's number are blocked at the carrier and platform layer.
Replying HELP or INFO returns the standard help message: "Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg&Data Rates May Apply."
Recipients may also opt out by emailing support@ibuildpro.co with the subject "STOP" and the phone number to remove.
